"EDIT: 2/2/05.
PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER WITH YAHOO! NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
Dear friends,
I started this thread last month to check if there was a catch in Yahoo's domain deal.
Here was my query on this thread:
----------------------------------------
Yahoo! charges you $4.98 to register your domain. Good for one year.
Sounds like a great deal.
I'm thinking about registering here.
Is there a catch that anybody can advise me about before I do so?
Thanks.
Newbiemia.

Finding no response to this query, I tried a little more research, and found nothing. Therefore, I went ahead and registered.
BIG MISTAKE!
Ever since then, I experienced hours upon hours of aggravating nightmarish living hell on earth.
I eventually created a website about my entire horrible experience: http://www.caliditta.com/yahoo.htm.
Yahoo is a scam artist. There are many websites out there warning users to stay away from them. I'm only sorry I never saw them sooner.
Please Please Please stay away from Yahoo!
Yahoo attaches recurring automatic carges to your credit card. To some this may not matter, but to any with a graduate level education in Business Administration and Marketing, this is elementary reperatory straegy. Popularized first by Colombia House, and later by America Online. To some, this may still not matter, but I advise you to consider the consequences of these types of deals. I have fallen prey to them more than too many times. Yahoo is no exception. Please do everything you can to stay away from Yahoo and any company that would use such forms of marketing practices.
